How to Book  -  Paris  Apartment  Rental

Please check with us whether your apartment is available. Please fill this   booking form  sign it and send it back ( mail, fax or email ) to us. As soon as we get your booking we will
send back a detailed booking confirmation with all necessary details, many usefull informations, a map how to go to your apartment from the next train or metro station and much more informations.

How to book an apartment in Paris?
You select one of the apartments you are interested in on the website and send us an e-mail. We check the availability for your period and send you back a reply. If the apartment  you have selected is  already booked, we will propose other apartments for you. When you are ready to book it please fax the booking form.

TO BOOK the apartment :

First, please print and send back the signed contract, by fax to our Paris or NYC office. You can also scan the filled form and send as e-mail attachment.

Don’t forget to inform us how you expect to pay the 50% deposit - when you have not choosen credit card payment.

Please go to the heading "Payment" to know how to pay or go to the heading "Accepted Payment" to know which kind of payment you can choose.

The apartment is booked for you when we have received a signed contract and the 50% deposit.  Then we send you a confirmation.

How to pay?

We ask you for a deposit of 50% of the total rental price upon booking.

When you have not choosen for credit card payment on the rental form you should send us the balance of the total rental price and security deposit refundable at least two months before your arrival.

Is there any tax to pay?

According to the French law every guest staying in an apartment must pay a visitor’s tax. Our apartments are classified from three to four stars and this tax is  already included in the rental fee.

Which payments are available?

You can pay by:

Credit card (Visa or MasterCard)

Paypal

Bank transfer

Transaction fee of 3,95 % for bank transfer, paypal or credit card payment will be on your charge.

How is the security deposit refundable?

The contract includes the payment of a security deposit by the tenant, whatever the type of accommodations. This security deposit is used to cover possible defaults of the tenant.

The security deposit is 300 Euro for rentals less than a week and 500 Euro for rentals longer than a week.

Security deposit shall be refunded, minus any amount withheld to cover repairs to premises and a deduction will be made, if need be, for the amounts owed . Restitution of moneys due will take place during two weeks after tenant's departure according to the French executive order of 8 January 1993.

Whatever the payment you chose, the security deposit is refunded by crediting your credit card or by Paypal.

How long can we stay?

We rent for a minimum stay of four days. If you want to stay less than 4 days, you will pay the same amount as if you stay one week. There is no maximum stay. You can rent an apartment as long as you want.

For over one week, we will calculate the proportional share of the price based on nights. The third and the fourth weeks are with a 50% discount price. So if you stay one month you will pay the price of three weeks.

Can we extend our stay?

An extension can be made. Please note that any extension cannot be guaranteed if you don’t ask for it.

Your extension is guaranteed within 2 days if you ask for it during you stay and of course if the apartment is available after your theoretical departure. After this delay of 2 days, if you have not signed an amendment of the contract, the extension is not guaranteed.

When can we arrive?

You are free to choose your date of arrival and you can arrive any day of the week. You should notify us at least one week in advance of the day and precise time of arrival.

Can we rent during high season?

Please note a 25 % price increase during the high season (October, Christmas, March, April, May, June and July).

What about the arrival and the departure from the airport?

We can book a shuttle for you: for your arrival (from the airport to the apartment) and for your departure (from the apartment to the airport)

The driver will pick you at the airport. Before picking up your luggage, please phone a free toll number 0800 699 699 (Warning: you must dial this number from a French phone). The driver will drive you to the apartment.

These pickup service is available  from 7:00 am in the morning until 8 pm in the evening.

What about the check-in?

At your arrival our english speaking staff will await you in the apartment. Your rental starts at 4 pm. When you want to check-in in the morning the day you arrive you must book the apartment starting the day before. For check-in between 8 pm and 23 pm you'll be asked to pay 25 Euro/h cash directly to our staff. Check-in after 23 pm will only be possible when agreed before.  

Remember: keep the letter of confirmation with your, because you will need vital information about the building (code, floor, door left or right).For security reasons we can not leave this anywhere.

What about the departure and the check-out?

Premises must be vacated on the date and at the time stated in the contract. Your rental ends at 10 am. Our agent will come by. You can also check-out before 10 am but in this case we can not guarantee that our staff will be present.

If our agent  observes damage after your departure, we will inform you and we will deduct the amount from the security deposit.

What are the conditions for cancelling?

In case of cancellation fifteen days before the arrival, the Tenant owes the full amount of the rent.

In the case of cancellation more than fifteen days before the arrival, the tenant forfeits the deposit.

What kind of service charges are to be paid?

Outgoing phone calls to cells, even french cells starting with 06...  will be invoiced. Calls to cells in USA and Canada are free.

How to use the telephone?

You must dial also the leading 0 inside France. To call US and Canada please dial 001 ………, for Australia call 00 61…And for european countries dial 00 44 ( G.B.) or 00 49 ( Germany ) To be reached from US this number must be dialed: 011 33 1 ........ , from Australia it’s 00 11 33 1 ........

Are pets allowed?

We are sorry but the pets are not allowed in any apartment, unless prior written authorization has been obtained.

How much are the agency fees?

You are renting directly from owner - no agency fees.

Do we need to bring linens and towels?

We furnish clean linens and towels in each apartment. If you stay more than two weeks, we provide a second clean set of linens and towels.

Are the apartments clean?

Apartment is cleaned before your arrival. During your stay, we ask you to maintain in the same state you found it. We can provide extra cleaning on demand (25 € /hour.VAT included).

Is there a laundry service?

Pressing at home is one of our services. Clothes can be collected at your apartment from 3pm and be given back until 9pm. You can book this service by phone, from 8am to 9pm.

Please note that in case of absolute necessity or emergency we reserve our right to change the apartment that you booked for one of the same or higher standing.

Do I need to subscribe an insurance for my apartment?

Our insurance guarantees damages to the tenant's and other occupants’ personal effects in consequence of fire, explosion or water damage. But the apartments door must be locked by key and the windows must be closed when you are not at home - otherwise the insurance will refuse any reimbursement. The insurance will also guarantee rental responsibilities and resort of the neighbors and thirds.
